Today, I would like to share a few words that were close to my father, he used to say most poetically-
"Kuch is tarah se guzari hai zindagi Maine, ke mere baad, zindagi ka ehteraam honga."
Translation: "I have lived my life in such a way that after me, life will be respected."
Back then, I failed to grasp the profound significance of these words, but now I see how he exemplified them for his family, children, and friends. If only I could ignite a few sparks and embody the same lofty moral standards he did.
Abba, your life was imbued with invaluable virtues. In my darkest moments, I recall whose daughter I am and wear my crown sincerely.
Do you remember any words that reflect the very essence of your father or mother?
That is a lovely saying! My mom and dad make wisecracks instead of sharing wise words. :)
My Dad always said, "We live in deeds, not years." He lives his life in this way, always doing for others.
